Dragon Raja's Japanese Dub Is Confirmed!

In January 2024, Aniplex released a one-minute-long trailer of Dragon Raja in Japanese under the title Ryuzoku: The Blazing Dawn.

The Japanese dub for the donghua was announced as early as 2022, and the project finally feels tangible.

So far, three main cast members have been confirmed:

  • Ayumu Murase (Hinata Shouyou from Haikyuu!!) will portray Lu Mingze, a mysterious boy who loves Mingfei.
  • Daiki Yamashita (Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia) will play Lu Mingfei, the unlucky main character who receives an invitation to a mysterious academy, not knowing it's the beginning of a legend.
  • Kaede Hondo (Eiko Tsumiki from Ya Boy Kongming!) will be in the role of Chen Motong, a student at Kassel Academy.

In the fantasy anime series, which is based on web novels by Chinese author Jiang Nan, an ordinary high school student is invited to study at Kassel Academy.

As of writing, Dragon Raja isn't available in streaming services in North America and Europe, though this could change when its Japanese dub is completed.

Right now, the donghua is available on the Malaysian streaming service iFlix.

Since the Japanese dub has been announced and licensed by Aniplex, it could become available on the Aniplex network via Hulu.

No announcement has been made regarding its possible release to Crunchyroll, Netflix, or other websites for anime viewing.

If a streaming service for Dragon Raja is announced, we will update this space with relevant information!
