When World’s End Harem first dropped, it stirred up a lot of controversies that it was tagged as NSFW for an anime show but when the creators recalibrated it, the series turned out to be a great one as it delved into the discovery of the origins of the MK Virus. This gathered more fans to watch it and many are wondering when to expect an English dub or will it ever have one.
World’s End Harem was brought to the screens by Studio Gokumi from the pages of the manga series, Shuumatsu no Harem, and it is written by LINK with the illustrations of Kotaro Shōno. It is published in Shueisha's online magazine Shōnen Jump+ and as of August 2020, it is all collated into twelve tankōbon volumes. It has been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment in North America.
The anime show follows the new world where Reito woke up after being asleep for a long time and there were only a few men left in this world who survived the epidemic, the MK Virus. He was chosen as one of the few males to be part of the breeding process so the world could start repopulating. Now that men became the rarest resource in the planet, their value raised and they are on a mission to create as many babies as they can.
Every week, a new run comes up on Crunchyroll where World’s End Harem will officially stream all 11 episodes of the anime show. Crunchyroll offers an earlier screening of the shows in its library to premium users for the price of $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. For those who are not subscribed, they release the episodes for free the following week.
