What is World’s End Harem About?
World’s End Harem takes place in a futuristic, technologically-advanced world that is hit by a strange virus that eradicates 99.9% of the male population.
Mizuhara Reito is a young man that is put into a cryogenic freeze for five years to recover from his illness. When he awakes, he finds himself in a world populated only by women, many of whom lust after him.
The situation is explained by Mira Suou, who tells him that he must impregnate as many women as possible to restore the gender balance and ensure humanity’s survival. However, he refuses, wanting instead to find Tachibana Elisa, his crush from before he was put to sleep.

Was World’s End Harem Cancelled?
World’s End Harem was not cancelled. The show was supposed to come out in October 2021. While the first episode was released, the series was then delayed until January 2022.
The reason for World’s End Harem’s delay was so that the production could be ‘closely examined’. No further explanation was given, which led some fans to believe the nature of the show was the problem. However, that’s not necessarily the case.
There are many reasons why World’s End Harem could have been delayed. Some suggested a discrepancy between the anime and the source material, while others suggested the quality of the animation was at fault.
