Everybody loves seeing big stars come together for a movie project. And with Netflix's upcoming film, people are likely going to get excited with its growing list of actors confirmed to be part of the cast.

The film, entitled The Pain Hustlers, was first introduced as Emily Blunt's latest feature film at the 2022 Cannes Festival. It is said to be "the vein of The Wolf of Wall Street."

Another perk of the new Netflix movie is that it is directed by David Yates. He is best known as the director of the last four Harry Potter and first three Fantastic Beast films. The script is written by Wells Tower.

If these things don't excite you yet, here are other pieces of information that we've gathered about this upcoming film:

As of this writing, the official synopsis has not yet been released by Netflix. But they have provided the official logline of The Pain Hustlers, which reads:

"The film centers on Liza Drake (Blunt), a high-school dropout dreaming of a better life for her and her young daughter, who lands a job with a failing pharmaceutical start-up in a yellowing strip mall in Central Florida. Liza’s charm, guts and drive catapult the company and her into the high life, where she soon finds herself at the center of a criminal conspiracy with deadly consequences."

Some say The Pain Hustlers will combine aspects of The Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle, and The Big Short in one movie. In addition to this, the movie will be loosely based on a New York Times interactive article released in 2018 with the same namesake. The author of the article, Evan Hughes, describes it on his website as “The New York Times Magazine, “The Pain Hustlers,” a feature about the Insys Therapeutics story, published in May 2018, before the case against the company’s top executives went to trial.”
