Emily Blunt has Met with Marvel Studios about a Role

As the MCU continues to trudge along, more and more actors are finding themselves participating in one of the biggest franchises in the world. What's interesting is, Marvel could be joined very soon by none other than Emily Blunt.

As per Murphy's Multiverse, it was said that during the production of Disney's Jungle Cruise, Blunt had met with Marvel Studios in a role about an upcoming film. We don't have any details on what that movie might be, but the source is guessing that it could be for the part of Clea in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

While I have no doubt that Blunt can play that part, she has been the fancast for the role of Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four. If anything, Blunt has come packaged with her husband John Krasinski, who fans want to play the MCU's version of Mr. Fantastic. The two have proved to bounce off each other well in A Quiet Place, so how hard would it be to play a couple in a Fantastic Four film.

Personally, if you're going to add someone like Blunt in the MCU, she should at least play the main character, and not someone's supporting gal like Clea. That's just my opinion at least.

Until someone gives us an official update, we won't know what Blunt met up with Marvel for, but I'm sure excited to see who she could play in that universe.

For now, Blunt is set to return as the Abbott Matriarch in A Quiet Place Part II which hits theaters March 20.
