Famed South Korean screenwriter, Kang Eun Kyung, is back with a new historical thriller series. Eun Kyung is most famous for his other Netflix k-dramas such as Ghost, Forecasting Love and Weather, and Dr. Romantic. This time around, he is working with It's Okay to Not Be Okay director Jung Dong Yoon for the upcoming Netflix Original, Gyeongseong Creature.
The series is produced by Story & Pictures Media. Its co-producers are Studio Dragon and kakao ENTERTAINMENT.

Gyeongseong Creature Release Date
According to a Twitter post, filming for Gyeongseong Creature recently wrapped up. One of the staff members of the show had a picture with the main stars of the show and wrote a caption that translates to: "I forgot to take picture because filming is over."
As of this writing, the streaming giant has not made any announcement yet on the show's release date. But it's possible that Gyeongseong Creature could be released sometime in 2023.

Netflix's official synopsis for the show reads:
"The thriller series follows individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed. Set in the spring of 1945, in the city of Gyeongseong, the series is highly anticipated due to the sheer amount of talent tied to it."
