When Is The Menu Release Date?
Production on The Menu took place in Savannah, Georgia, in fall 2021. It had its premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival and now, the film is finally getting close to its theatrical release date.
The main actors of the film have revealed the release date via their Instagram accounts. Nicholas Hoult shared the release date and trailer of The Menu last Thursday, August 11 on his Instagram account.
His caption reads: "Painstakingly prepared. Brilliant execution. #TheMenuFilm only in theaters this November."
Another actress that shared The Menu's release date is Anya Taylor-Joy, who shared a photo of her character, Margot. She captioned this with: "This one has teeth. Can't wait to share it with everyone, we truly had a scrumptious time. Only in cinemas this November, #themenufilm."
The Menu release date will be on Friday, November 18, 2022 in the US. Searchlight Pictures will exclusively release the film in theaters.
What Is The Menu Movie About?
As of the moment, little information on The Menu story has been revealed. But the basic premise of the movie has been shared.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult star in the film as a newlywed couple who makes their way to Hawthorne. This is an exclusive restaurant situated on a remote island owned by a celebrity chef, Chef Slowik, played by Ralph Fiennes.
A lavish yet mysterious menu has been prepared by the chef for the couple and the other restaurant patrons. Later in the night, the dinner guests discover a gruesome plot against their fate for unknown reasons known only to the chef. And what's even more mysterious is how the other chefs seem to be so devoted to Chef Slowik.
