Featuring Robert Pattinson as the new Batman, the Batverse will move ahead to introduce more foes and villains in his orbit. While there are still no details on whether Anya had accepted the role, the actress would clearly be a good addition to the new Batman franchise. We already knew that Warner Bros. together with Matt Reeves are committed to bringing a darker material for The Batman reboot. Reeves had already confirmed that two spinoffs will follow The Batman, one focused on Colin Farrell's The Penguin as the criminal elite, and one that revolves around The Gotham's Police Department. Reeves together with his production team has big plans for the new Batverse before the film even hit theaters.

For the new reboot, Reeves revealed that he aims for grounded characters and a much darker material for the new Batverse, even darker than Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy. From The Batman, we witnessed how Reeves' crafted a more realistic concept for the costumes, the classic batmobile, and even in technologies. We also saw a sinister yet realistic portrayal of Paul Dano's The Riddler, which the actor perfectly nailed.

Now that Matt Reeves confirmed Barry Keoghan as the new Joker seems like it's also a perfect time to introduce Joker's other half, Harley Quinn.

If Anya Taylor-Joy ever accepts the Harley Quinn role for the new Batman franchise, it would be very challenging, especially after Harley Quinn star Margot Robbie has set a gold standard for the classic Batman villain. Starring in two Suicide Squad films and solo spinoff Birds of Prey, Robbie is the current fan favored Harley Quinn.

Fortunately, Matt Reeves' The Batman sets a darker tone compared to David Ayer’s Suicide Squad and a new darker interpretation of Harley Quinn will remain open. Judging Anya Taylor-Joy's acting career achievements, she would definitely bring a new Harley Quinn for the fans.
