What Is Marin’s Greatest Weakness?
In terms of Gojo and Marin’s relationship, she was the one who led them, be it in cosplaying or romance. But in the finale of My Dress-Up Darling, it appears that they have switched roles as Marin needs to keep up with Gojo instead.
In the latter part of the series, Marin is overwhelmed with her feelings for Gojo. She oftentimes finds herself mumbling to herself and imagining things they would do together, eventually losing her composure. It seems that love is Marin’s greatest weakness considering how much she has changed since she realized that she has fallen for him.
The hint in the last episode also confirmed that this was her weakness, other than failing to sew clothes beautifully. Marin and Gojo decided to go to school during summer break as she needed to retrieve some of her things. The two decided to go to the school’s pool where Marin said that she would casually dip her toes before diving.
This can further explain how she feels in their relationship considering how overwhelmed she is. The way she looked at the way can be likened to how reluctant she is to dive into the world of romance.
Just when Marin thought that she and Gojo can have a platonic friendship, she finds herself falling in love even before she was completely ready. Unlike her, it seems like Gojo’s approach to their relationship is more stable. This might indicate that this time around, Gojo will lead the relationship.
