The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2, Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore, brings Din Djarin into another step of his redemption arc as he goes to a pilgrimage into Mandalore, through the waters underneath the Mines of Mandalore.

The trip is one challenging journey that brought Din Djarin into danger, needing the help of Grogu to call on an old friend, Bo-Katan Kryze, and as he goes through the depths of the mines of Mandalore, Din had to submerge himself to the waters underneath it.

However, this is not an easy dive for Din as he nearly drowns. Great thing is that Bo-Katan is there to go after him and pull him out of the waters. While she is saving Din, Bo-Katan witnesses something in the dark depths of the water -- a legendary creature right before her eyes.

Bo-Katan sees a Mythosaur in the flesh! As she told Din early on in the episode, a Mythosaur is a beast who holds the key to the deep history of Mandalore.

Before everything, the Mythosaurs are the first dominant race in Mandalore but upon the arrival of the legendary warrior, Mandalore the First, the Mythosaurs were hunted to the point when everyone thought they went extinct.

The warrior culture of Mandalore has been using the image of the skull of the Mythosaur as a sacred symbol of the Mand'alor, the ruler of all Mandalore, and each and every clan on the planet.

Well, extinct no more, as the Mythosaur shows itself to Bo-Katan. What once was a myth was no more. As they reshape a new age for the Mandalorian culture, the appearance of the Mythosaur could make it or break it for them, more so, moving forward with the narrative.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 unveils the Mythosaur and it is now streaming on Disney Plus!
