Here's What You Need to Know About Sabine Wren's Return in Ahsoka
We first meet Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels. When Ezra Bridger joins the Ghost crew, Sabine is a teenage Mandalorian graffiti artist.
Before becoming a rebel, Sabine briefly studied at an imperial academy and her weapon designs were used in ways she failed to foresee, harming her home planet.
Her disillusionment led her to flee and join the rebellion, but her relationship with her family back in Mandalore was already too strained.
Although she was able to make amends with them later on, it seems that she considers the Ghost crew as her primary family.
By the end of Rebels she and Ahsoka set out to find Ezra Bridger, and we expect this to be their main quest in the Ahsoka tv series.
It's unclear how the misfortune that befell Mandalore, as seen in The Mandalorian, affected Sabine but we do expect Ahsoka to touch on that as well.
What Is Sabine Wren's Age In Star Wars Rebels?
At the beginning of Rebels, Sabine is 16 years old. Each Rebels season spans about a year. This would make her 19 years old by Season 4.
Following the final events of Rebels' narrative, there's an epilogue that goes fast forward around five years later.
This means that Sabine would be around 24 during the epilogue.
What Is Sabine Wren's Age In Ahsoka?
In Ahsoka, Sabine Wren is about 29 or 30 years old.
Ahsoka's timeline unfolds around five years after Return of the Jedi.
Since the events of the original trilogy last around four years, placing Rebels' epilogue at around the same point as Return of the Jedi, five more years have passed by Ahsoka.
Note that Ahsoka's biological age is younger by about two years than it would otherwise have been, as Ezra pulled her from a Season 2 battle during his adventure in the Jedi temple during Rebels Season 4.
What Is Ahsoka and Sabine's Relationship?
While Rebels doesn't give much indication that Sabine is Force-sensitive, Ahsoka's trailers show her training with Ezra's lightsaber and calling Ahsoka 'master."
It's implied that they have a shared history and that Ahsoka trained Sabine for a while although it seems that some falling apart has taken place.
Ahsoka mentions having walked away from Sabine for reasons we have yet to see.
In any case, Ahsoka, like previous Star Wars stories seems to continue a pattern of teacher-apprentice relationships, so we expect to see Sabine master her abilities in this show!
