There is no doubt that Wednesday Addams became one of the most memorable characters ever to exist in 2022. One of the longest reign of most loved TV show characters, Eleven or Jane from Stranger Things, was for once beat by a newly released Netflix show, Wednesday. According to TV Time, a popular app that tracks TV shows and votes on fan-favorite characters after every episode, Wednesday Addams tops as No. 1, beating Eleven at No. 2, Luffy from One Piece at 3rd place, and even Moon Knight at 6th place. The tweet even featured one of Wednesday's famous lines from the series, the scene where she told Tyler to stay away from her, given her cold-hearted treatment of others. Check out the tweet below:

Given the blunt and morbid personality of the Addams family daughter as a teen, it makes even more sense to have her own show, as compared to when Christina Ricci first had the role back in 1991, where she was on the verge of becoming a teen. The showrunners made it clear that Wednesday Addams as a teen living in a boarding school filled with outcasts would be an interesting take on the character. Surely enough, they had gained success over to get a season 2 renewal on Netflix.

The Jenna Ortega-led show continues its impact, with Lady Gaga, among many others, even having her own get-up of the show’s teen for Halloween, and even in booming the career of the leading actress Jenna Ortega. The actress is set to return in Scream 6, where she will be reprising her role as Tara Carpenter, currently slated for release on March 10, 2023.
