WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany have been hyping up the arrival of a surprise cameo that they claim will blow us all away. Since the Wanda Maximoff actress' revelation last month that the hit Marvel series will feature a cameo on par with Luke Skywalker's jaw-dropping appearance in The Mandalorian, fans have speculated as to which character it could be.

Bettany also teases that the actor who will make his grand MCU arrival is someone he has never worked with before. But when you think about it, Bettany has virtually worked with all the big stars in the franchise so the general belief amongst viewers is that a new character could be showing up in the finale.

Initially, fans thought that Olsen and Bettany were talking about the same person but that may not be the case after all as the British actor might have been trolling us all along. In a recent interview with Esquire Magazine, Bettany teased the appearance of the said mystery actor that he's been dying to work with for years.

His exact statement was: "There is one character that has not been revealed and it is very exciting, it's an actor I've longed to work with all of my life. We have some amazing scenes together, and the chemistry between us is, I think, extraordinary, and it was just fireworks on set. So I'm really excited for people to see that stuff."

Looking back at what he said, Bettany may have actually teased that the actor he's referring to is none other than himself and for all we know, he may just be messing with us with his impeccable British humor. Episode 8 revealed the existence of a second Vision aka "White Vision" created by S.W.O.R.D. and WandaVision's upcoming finale teases a grand showdown between the two Visions apart from Wanda and Agatha's epic clash.

I don't know about you but Bettany may have tricked us into believing his previous claims. That's not to say though that Lizzie's recent statement about the Luke Skywalker-level cameo isn't true because someone like Doctor Strange could come in to help her defeat Agatha Harkness.

WandaVision's finale episode will premiere this Friday on Disney+.
