WandaVision Star Addresses Billy Maximoff's Return after Doctor Strange 2

There is little doubt that WandaVision gave fans hope for the future with the introduction of Wanda Maximoff's twin sons Billy and Tommy Maximoff. After all, the twins were expected to be future members of the Young Avengers. Since then, the boys have reappeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but they belonged to a different universe.

So is there any chance that Billy and Tommy Maximoff will play a larger role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe projects? Julian Hilliard, who plays Billy, has addressed the possibility of the character showing up in the MCU after they returned in Doctor Strange 2.

Julian Hilliard recently spoke to The Direct where he was asked about his future in the MCU. Interestingly, the young actor pointed out that Billy (and Tommy) Maximoff's return is up to the big boss at Marvel Studios.

"I’ll leave that up to Kevin Feige. In Feige we trust," Hilliard said with a laugh. "And you know, it’s like in horror films, if you don’t see the characters die or disappear on screen, how can you be 100% sure they did? Just something to think about."

Hilliard continued by pointing out that he is being patient with Marvel since it would take time to develop a character's story. He cites Billy's mother Wanda Maximoff as a major example.

"Well, look what they did with Wanda’s character, it took years before she was officially The Scarlet Witch and that was such an amazing payoff. So, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!" Hilliard said.

It's an interesting thought considering that Marvel may already have plans for the characters who have been introduced in its latest projects. Needless to say, we'll be waiting to see more of Billy and Tommy in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
