The third episode of WandaVision is finally here, and the series has kicked into some weird territory. Interestingly, the episode also showed more of the adult Monica Rambeau who has been calling herself Geraldine. But what exactly happened to Geraldine at the end of Now In Color?
WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS from WandaVision Episode 3 so PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
In Now In Color, Wanda Maximoff's pregnancy escalates really fast. When she suddenly reaches the third trimester, she experiences contractions that accidentally make her cause an energy surge that shuts down the town's power.
The contractions were just the beginning of one of the weirdest parts of the episode. While entertaining Geraldine, Wanda suddenly goes into labor and Vision leaves his wife to get the doctor. Luckily, Geraldine is able to help deliver Wanda and Vision's twin boys.
It's an awesome scene that turns dark when Wanda admits she used to have a twin and Geraldine somehow mentions that Pietro Maximoff was killed by Ultron. At this point, Wanda realized Geraldine is wearing a necklace with the SWORD symbol and asks about it but the woman appears to be terrified and confused.
At this point, Vision has discovered that Agnes and Hugh have been whispering outside and they point out that Geraldine doesn't belong in Westview. But when Vision returns home, Geraldine is gone and Wanda simply tells him that "she had to run."
So what happened to Geraldine? It is revealed that she has been cast out of Westview from a wall of TV static. As she lands on a field, SWORD agents surround her.
Things are truly getting interesting in WandaVision at this point. Is Geraldine aware that she is actually Monica Rambeau or is she just acting in an effort to reach out to Wanda? Will she manage to go back into Westview? The truth could be revealed next week.
The third episode of WandaVision is now streaming on Disney+.
