TXT Soobin spoke candidly about how it feels like to have a first-ever project without the other boy group members.

Big Hit Music first introduced the new boy group in 2019, formally presenting its five members to the public. Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai started gracing the stage with their debut EP, The Dream Chapter: Star.

Since then, the members have become inseparable. In fact, they all appeared together in several endorsements, including It’s Skin, SKOOLOOKS, GLIDiC, and 4OIN.

But as they rise to popularity even more, members have to work alone for their personal growth, and TXT leader Soobin became the first one to take the risk.

TXT Soobin Lands First Solo Project

The first month of January became a fruitful one for Soobin already as he was selected to grace the pages of Marie Claire Magazine.

In his new interview and pictorial for the publication, the K-pop idol reflected on his first-ever solo pictorial without the members beside him. In the post-shoot interview, Soobin revealed what he truly felt about his new solo milestone.

According to the singer, he felt nervous about going for the interview and photo shoot alone.

“It’s rare that I do something without the other [TXT] members, so I was really worried,” he shared. “I was very nervous, but thanks to the warm atmosphere on set, my nerves quickly melted away.”

Soobin, although he worked alone, said he is looking forward to doing more projects with the boy group. He also expressed his hopes the group would soon tell their stories of comfort through their future releases.

TXT’s Achievements So Far

It is not surprising that Soobin feels that way, especially since he knows he excels as long as he is with TXT.

Last year, TXT transformed from being a rookie monster to one of the most sought-after groups in their generation. Following their debut album, the boy group dropped The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, which became the No. 1 best-selling album in the US and No. 5 best-selling album by any artist in 2021.

They also outshined other recently debuted groups as they became the only K-pop artist to debut three albums on Billboard 200. In addition, their 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) scored the title of the first Korean-language song to appear on Line Music’s real-time chart in Japan for over 100 hours.

With those achievements, Soobin himself said he could not believe it happened as it did not feel real.

“Since we haven’t been able to go on tour, there was no way for me to feel our growth [in terms of our fandom]. But due to these kinds of results, I became confident that the path we’re taking is the right one, and it made me feel proud and happy,” he went on.

TXT and Soobin still have a long way to go, but they will surely bring home more crowns and trophies soon.
