KNK lost another member after Oh Heejun decided to part ways with the group.

Originally, KNK dominated the K-pop scene with its five members. All of them – Inseong, Jihun, Youjin, Seoham, Heejun – underwent a long training period before their official debut. The group eventually welcomed its new member, Dongwon, after original member Youjin was diagnosed with a panic disorder.

However, Seoham followed Youjin’s footsteps and also cut his ties with the group.

Unfortunately, another member announced his departure from the group this year.

220 Entertainment released an official statement on January 13 (per Korea JoongAng Daily), revealing that Oh Heejun decided to part ways with the company and refused to renew his contract. The agency added that the member ended his activities with KNK in his own will.

“We express deep gratitude to all the fans who have supported Oh Heejun until now,” it added.

It ended Oh Heejun’s stint with the group, which started when they made their debut with the EP Knock. The band’s name is based on the English word knock, which pushes them to knock on doors of K-pop with music.
