Today’s Webtoon main cast members, Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Su already grew closer together as they filmed the upcoming drama.
Today’s Webtoon is the Korean remake of the Japanese drama, Sleepeeer Hit! The upcoming drama tells the story of a former judo athlete who decides to be part of the webtoon editorial department. But the character faces no smooth path to becoming a true webtoon editor.
In the series, Kim Sejeong plays the lead role of On Ma Eum, a judo athlete who wants to join Olympics not until an accident happens and causes her to work at a webtoon editorial department instead.
Meanwhile, Nam Yoon Su’s Goo Jun Yeong is a member of the sales team who gradually becomes similar to the kind and warm-hearted On Ma Eum.
Although the previous teaser photo showed the tension between On Ma Eum and Goo Jun Yeong, a new behind-the-scenes trailer revealed the co-stars’ closeness behind the scenes.

The latter part of the clips highlights them as they smile and laugh with the other cast members.

Previously, SBS Catch dropped a 16-second trailer featuring Kim Sejeong’s On Ma Eum. The actress looks different with her short haircut in the drama.
Meanwhile, she gets more drawn to webtoons while titles and sketches appear on her computer screen.
She eventually falls into the webtoon after reading the stories she works on for the editorial department.
Today’s Webtoon will premiere in South Korea on July 29 at 10:00 p.m KST.
