Three Marvel Trailers Will Reportedly Appear at the Super Bowl

Marvel Phase Five opens with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania this coming February, and while we have yet to get any other Phase Five movie teaser trailers, it looks like the long wait will soon be over!

According to a rumor alert from insider @MarvelInsiderIN on Twitter, trailers for three Marvel films are in talks of being released at the Super Bowl telecast. The three Marvel movies are: The Marvels, Avengers: Secret Invasion, as well as Loki Season 2. According to the scoop, the finished trailers will be arriving in a few days for the dubbing process in India. Check out the tweets below:

While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, and granted that this is but a rumor, take into consideration that the broadcast of this year’s Super Bowl (LVII) is a major opportunity for studios to debut numerous trailers in promotion of 2023’s most anticipated films. Seeing as Marvel is one of the biggest and globally known studios and franchises, there is little doubt that the MCU inclusion won’t be appearing on the list.

Kevin Feige previously denied the idea that Marvel is suffering from “superhero fatigue” as he believes comic book heroes and stories are not exhaustive material, especially when it comes to having a massive audience and its continuous garnering of fans. While Marvel Phase Five is possibly hanging on a thread, the “quantity over quality” issue remains to be seen.

The future of Marvel may be hanging onto how Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania performs at the box office, which was predicted to have a weaker opening (predicted to earn between $96 and $131 million) than Thor: Love and Thunder ($144 million).

The Marvels is currently slated for its theatrical release on July 28th, Avengers: Secret Invasion sometime this year, and finally, Loki Season 2 in the summer of 2023.
