Agatha: Coven of Chaos has already begun filming this month and apart from Heartstopper star Joe Locke taking to Instagram our first behind-the-scenes look at the WandaVision spinoff set, more behind-the-scenes photos also confirm Locke’s role in the Disney+ series. Check out the images below:
From the looks of it, Kathryn Hahn, Ali Ahn, and Joe Locke were walking together on the Agatha spinoff set. A notable insider, @MarvelInsiderIN, observed Locke’s outfit, clearly indicating that his role in Agatha: Coven of Chaos is one of Wanda Maximoff’s reincarnated twins, Billy Kaplan. The insider noted that the Heartstopper star was wearing “a bright T-shirt and blue sweatshirt, definitely Billy Kaplan.”

The cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos includes Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield Ford, Sasheer Zamata, Maria Dizzia, Ali Ahn, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Kate Forbes, and Brian Brightman.
While previous Agatha spinoff reports implied that the series will be suffering a shocking two-year delay, where instead of its expected debut in 2023, it will end up being 2025-bound, for now, it looks like the filming schedule is being kept on track. Let’s hope this keeps up for its release to be on time.
If the old scoops are correct about the plot, Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be showing a different side of Kathryn Hahn’s titular role: as the protector of Billy Kaplan (Joe Locke). Aubrey Plaza’s role may have been kept under wraps, but the scoop indicated that she is rumored to be Morgan LE Fay as one of the Coven of Witches dedicated in taking away Billy alongside Mephisto (rumored to be Sacha Baron Cohen, who has already filmed his scenes for the series).
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is currently slated to release in late 2023 or early 2024 on Disney+. Check out more details and updates on this series here.
