All eyes are now on the upcoming The Walking Dead spinoffs, specifically on Norman ReedusThe Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. As several teasers are now coming out that successfully hype the show, the actor himself reveals how it will be different from the recently concluded TWD.

Reedus will reprise his role as the arrow-wielding apocalypse survivor in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. However, this time, he will be in Paris, France, and the show will answer the question of how he got there and how he will return home.

Norman Reedus Talks About Upcoming Daryl Dixon Spinoff

In an interview with Comicbook, Reedus talked about his last scene in TWD Season 11.

“There was a part of [the series finale] where I smiled a little bit, and that tone kind of makes it into the spinoff a little bit," he said.

From there, he hinted at the theme of his upcoming spinoff.

"And then it goes horribly wrong, like everything on The Walking Dead. It kind of felt like I was going to see what's new out in the world, you know what I mean?” he continued. “Everybody was safe, and I was gonna go see what's out there.”

Diane Kruger’s partner then compared the difference between The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and TWD.

"The tone is much different, the [cinematography is] much different. The lighting's different. We're in castles, and the storyline has a religious vibe to it,” he described. “Part of the story is me around a bunch of people speaking French. I'm trying to figure out like, 'Is this gonna be a fight?'"

Meanwhile, after TWD Season 11 ended on Sunday, November 20, AMC dropped the first look at Reedus in his upcoming spinoff.

In the images obtained by People, the 53-year-old could be seen preparing for his new epic adventure, standing beside a horse with a carriage while looking at something from a distance.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in September, Reedus teased that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon would be “f---ing epic.”

"We knew we wanted to make a show that went in the opposite direction just because we didn't want to do the same thing," he stated. "So that's what we're doing. And it's going to be way different."
