The Suicide Squad will premiere in a few weeks but as early as now, director James Gunn officially announces that the tickets are now released and are on sale even before the film hits the theaters. Surely, it will be a blockbuster movie and this Wednesday morning, one can purchase it through Fandango and other digital platforms.
In the official Twitter account of James Gunn, he proudly announced that the tickets to The Suicide Squad are now on sale as the film would be released on the big screen on top of its premiere on HBO Max for a month. Gunn even hinted that the film was made for an IMAX screen as it was shot using IMAX cameras.
Having a bit of both as a standalone sequel to David Ayer's Suicide Squad in 2016, the re-launch of The Suicide Squad includes more cons than that of the first film. While it will be featuring some recurring characters, new members of the team will be taking part in the new direction The Suicide Squad has to offer.
The team will be heading to Corto Maltese on a do-or-die mission to recover something from the place, the movie is set to have the vibes of a 70's War-Style since the place they would go to is a Nazi-era prison. The awful past of the place dates back to the ‘70s explaining the feel of the film.
Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn will be joined by Viola Davis' Amanda Waller, Idris Elba's Bloodsport, Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang, John Cena's Peacemaker, Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flagg, Michael Rooker's Savant, David Dastmalchian's Polka-Dot Man, Steve Agee's King Shark, Daniela Melchior's Ratcatcher, and Flula Borg's Javelin.
