The Mother Release Date: When Will The Mother Come Out?
The Mother does not have an official release date yet. However, during Netflix's annual Tudum held last September 24, 2022, we learned that the film is set to come out by May 2023, right on time for Mother's Day.
When did The Mother 2 start production?
The Mother began filming on October 4, 2021. The cast and crew filmed the scenes for the movie in locations around Vancouver, Canada, and Canary Island in Spain in the Gran Canaria. The film didn't escape the effects of the pandemic, with filming paused for a week because of a Covid outbreak.
The team wrapped up filming on January 28, 2022.

Jennifer Lopez leads the cast of The Mother. She will play the role of a battle-hardened woman who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter.
JLo doesn't need any introduction, thanks to her successful career as a singer and actor. The Jenny from the Block singer has starred in many genres, with her most notable projects being Main in Manhattan, Selena, and Marry Me, her most recent rom-com film opposite Owen Wilson.

Years ago, a deadly assassin was forced to go on the run, which forced her to give up her only daughter. Years later, the female assassin returns her order to protect her daughter from some extremely dangerous men.
Why her daughter needs protecting and how she will be battling her adversaries is still a mystery, but it seems to be action-packed.
