Golshifteh Farahani may still play Aneesha Malik, along with Firas Nassar as Ahmed' Manny’ Malik, Azhy Robertson as Luke Malik, and Tara Moayedi as Sarah Malik. Shamier Anderson may return as Trevante Cole, Aziz Capkurt may still play Kuchi, and Billy Barret may still play as Caspar Morrow.

The second season of Invasion may still include Shiole Kutsuna as Mitsuki Yamato, Daisuke Tsuji as Kaito Kawaguchi, and Sam Neill as Sheriff Jim Bell Tyson.

Invasion Season 2 Crew: Who are the Creatives Behind the Scenes?

The creative crew from the first season of Invasion may return to work on season 2.

Jakob Verbruggen, an Emmy Award-nominated director who also worked on The Alienist and The Fall, will direct the series. Verbruggen is also the show's executive producer along with Simon Kinberg, Audrey Chon, Amy Kaufman, and Elisa Ellis.

Kinberg also writes for Invasion with Andrew Baldwin. In a statement released by Apple, Kinberg talked about his gratitude to fans for their support.

During the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, Kinberg talked about the first season of the show and their plans for Invasion season 2. He said that Invasion season 1 was the build of the invasion, with the second season portraying the battle for Earth that Kinberg envisioned for the show.

As per Kinberg, the new season begins a few months after the events in season 1, where humanity is already aware of what they are facing, with many countries already falling. After season 1 focused on the experiences of survivors from all around the world, season 2 will now take on the bigger picture to show how the society was affected by the invasion through the experiences of the characters.
