Marvel Studios has been adjusting the release dates for their upcoming films this Marvel Phase 5, and one of them happened to be The Marvels, in which the Captain Marvel sequel was moved from its original July release date to November, instead. A previous report claimed that apparently, behind-the-scenes filming had been nightmarish, considering that Brie Larson had a lot of “issues” sharing the spotlight.

Marvel Phase 5 has not been looking good since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s majorly negative reception from its audience upon its premiere. However, according to industry insider KC Walsh, The Marvels is reportedly getting better reception amongst the other MCU films being released this year!

“I [have] never heard a bad word about the movie or production, very much the opposite. In fact, until yesterday, internally talk has always been HIGH on The Marvels.”

When Marvel officially announced that The Marvels was being moved to a November release date, they didn’t exactly open up the reason behind the date change, aside from speculated production delays. Many are led to believe it had something to do in regards to the studio taking their sweet time with CGI and VFX artists to flourish the film’s quality.

While it was also reported that Larson didn’t want to share the spotlight with co-stars Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Photon (Teyonah Parris), a new report debunked that this was not the case at all. In fact, according to scooper Main Middle Man, the rumored diva behavior was a staged hate campaign for the film, in which playing the hate game would evidently gain The Marvels more exposure and engagement.

Overall, Marvel Studios has yet to address the issue at hand, but it’s still satisfying to hear that The Marvels would be one of the better MCU films being released this year before Marvel Phase 5 continues to sink into ruin.

Marvel Studios’ The Marvels is currently slated to premiere in theaters on November 10 this year.
