Meanwhile, talking about Captain Marvel, Brie Larson is about to reprise her role in its sequel, The Marvels. As she’s allowed to say how she feels about the second movie but not its plot, she has been open about how she thinks it is when she read the script.

“When I read the script for the first time, I couldn’t believe what I was reading,” she told Uproxx. “I was like, this is bonkers.”

It was the thing that she loved about Marvel, continuously reinventing.

“They continue to do the thing that you just would never think would be possible in these films,” she explained. “And they’re not afraid to go there. So I’m super excited about what we did.”

Sadly, the all-around couldn’t overshare details about the “huge personal achievements” she had attained.

“I’m really excited about sharing, but you know, it’s fun to have a bit of a secret,” she continued. “And it’s fun to know that, when this film comes out, people are going to be delighted.”

She felt lucky to keep that secret to herself much longer until The Marvels drops in 2023.
