Talking about The Good Doctor Season 6 premiere episode, executive producer David Shore told TVLine that it would feature “a huge amount of intensity and fun.”

However, it would also be difficult as it would feature the “immediate fallout from the finale.”

“Lim’s journey is going to be a big part of it,” he revealed.

The Intense Scenes in The Good Doctor Season 6 Trailer

Lim (Christina Chang) finally had the chance to talk to Andrews (Hill Harper), but she’s already hurt. Sadly, Andrews is inside the elevator at the time and has a weak signal.

The scene then shifts to the cops issuing a Code Silver, which means an individual is either wielding or firing a weapon and/or has a hostage.

Lea begs Shaun to stay somewhere safe, but the latter has no plans to sit, knowing Lim is in danger.

Things turn out very intense when Glassman (Richard Schiff) asks Shaun to look at him, while the latter seems in a state of shock.

“You will see very early into Season 6 the responsibility [Shaun takes on now],” Shore said, via CheatSheet. “He has shown that he can lead a surgery, but that’s a technical thing. There are emotional things that go with that, and interpersonal things that go with that, that are more challenging when there’s not somebody standing behind him [to make] the ultimate decision.”

The Good Doctor Season 6 will premiere on October 3.
