ABC released the official synopsis for The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 5 titled Crazytown this week.
“Dr. Park (Will Yun Lee) and Dr. Murphy treat an elderly Asian man brought to St. Bonaventure by his daughter after being the victim of a hate crime. In addition, Lea goes behind Shaun’s back to help raise his negative patient satisfaction scores,” the synopsis reads.

Based on the synopsis for Episode 5, Lea will do something that will upset Shaun.
In the previous episodes, Lea mentioned over and over again that Shaun doesn’t like sudden changes. But even if this is the case, Lea will still do something to jeopardize her relationship with her future husband.

ABC dropped a 29-second teaser from the upcoming episode of The Good Doctor Season 5. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide any insight into Lea and Shaun’s relationship trouble. Instead, the promo centers on Shaun and Alex’s patient.
The clip opens with Shaun tending to the Asian man who was rushed to the hospital by his daughter. Alex asks why the man’s jaw is broken, and his daughter says that her dad was attacked.

In the next scene, Alex and Shaun try to convince the patient to undergo an important surgery. Otherwise, the patient will only have a maximum of one year to live.
Unfortunately, Alex and Shaun struggle to convince the patient to get the surgery that he needs. But when he suffers an emergency, his daughter gives the doctors the green light to operate on her dad.
The daughter tells Shaun that her dad would hate her if he finds out. But an upset Shaun reminds the daughter that what matters is saving her dad’s life and not being right.
