Song Hye Kyo finally sees the end of her revenge plans in The Glory.

Moon Dong Eun, a former school violence victim, starts planning her revenge on her bullies years after the perpetrators ruined her life. In the last episode of The Glory, she finally sees the ending of her story.

The Glory Episode 16 Recap

The Glory episode 16, the last episode of the hit Netflix Kdrama series, starts with Moon Dong Eun asking Joo Yeo Jeong whether he knows all along that she approached him on purpose. As the Kdrama progresses, it reveals how the stories of Joo Yeo Jeong’s family and Moon Dong Eun’s classmates are connected.

He also shares why he let her approach him in the first place. After learning everything about her plans, he reveals that was the time he decided to be her headsman — although she left.

Moon Dong Eun has had her heart closed for a long time. But this time, she opens up wholly to Joo Yeo Jeong who, in return, promises to be with her until the end.

She soon lures Choi Hye Jeong by asking if she wants Moon Dong Eun to help her get her revenge on Jeon Jae Jun. After he triggers her, Choi Hye Jeong changes his drops to worsen his case.

Chief Shin Yeong Jun, on the other hand, gets what he deserves after leaving and using his people.

Park Yeon Jin loses herself after her mother betrays her. She receives a video of Siesta where she killed Son Myeong O and spots the murder weapon she used. After arriving at the place, she finds forensic experts and authorities doing an investigation. Her appearance leads to her arrest.

Jeon Jae Jun finds out that Han Ye Sol left to study abroad. He also starts using his eyedrops which affects his vision, leading him to get involved in an accident.

The detective talks to Moon Dong Eun regarding Hong Yeong Ae. After all that happened, the detective realizes that he failed to help Moon Dong Eun 18 years ago so he has to help her now.

The investigation is finally over, and Moon Dong Eun’s revenge ends there.

While inside the prison, Park Yeon Jin signs her divorce papers with Ha Do Yeong and loses everything all at once.

Meanwhile, Moon Dong Eun expresses her gratitude to everyone who helped her until now. Everyone asks where she is, and the once-broken child finally finds happiness and starts living freely with Joo Yeo Jeong by her side — for the last time.

She tries to jump off the same building where she once contemplated ending her life after suffering from bullying. However, Joo Yeo Jeong’s mother, Park Sang Im, appears and asks her to help her son, as well, in escaping his hell — inmate Kang Yeong Cheon — who killed his father.

Years after leaving Joo Yeo Jeong, Moon Dong Eun shows up again and tells him she probably left because of love, not revenge.

This time, Moon Dong Eun tells him she will be his headsman and the 1 percent missing.

The Glory’s last episode also reveals why the landlord has always given her the room for a low price. It turns out that she saved her 18 years ago when she attempted suicide again after failing to jump off a building.

Moon Dong Eun studies again and starts showing her scars which she used to hide. Meanwhile, Joo Yeo Jeong becomes a medical officer at Jisan Prison. The duo wonders where Jeon Jae Jun went after getting involved in an accident. It turns out someone pushes him off the building, and the episode reveals the shocking truth about it.

Meanwhile, Moon Dong Eun meets Kang Hyeong Nam again, who is yet to see her daughter again. Joo Yeo Jeong also finds a way to get revenge on the inmate who killed his father.

Yoon So Hee’s body has finally been laid to rest. After the things they went through, Moon Dong Eun and Joo Yeo Jeong finally get the glory they have wanted to have.

When Was The Glory Part 2 Released?

Netflix released the highly-anticipated second part of The Glory on March 10. It remains unknown whether there will be part 3 or The Glory season 2 soon.
