Marking the end of an era is the final run of the Scarlet Speedster in The Flash Season 9 and in a new set image shared by Arrowverse actor David Ramsey, it welcomes the return of fan-favorite heroes from The CW franchise as Green Arrow, Kid Flash, and Spartan comes back.
The Flash Season 9 is set as the last season of one of the longest running The CW shows in the Arrowverse and with the grand finale coming up, fan-favorite heroes of the franchise are making their return as seen in a new set photo shared by David Ramsey.
On Instagram, David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle/ Spartan, posted a new behind-the-scenes image of The Flash Season 9 with Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/ Flash, and the fan-favorite Arrowverse heroes, Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/ Green Arrow, and Kaiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/ Kid Flash.
All four of them are wearing the classic hero outfits teasing an epic team-up of the four an it also hints a huge battle coming that would require other heroes to join Barry Allen in saving the world.
In the same post, on the caption, Ramsey applauds the team behind The Flash for all the efforts they put in on the show, "Congratulations to Team Flash for nine incredible seasons."
Ramsey also shows his gratitude to all the fans who supported the whole Arrowverse throughout the years, "Most importantly.. thank ALL OF YOU for your undying support for this universe. None of this is possible without you! Enjoy the mashup you had no idea you needed!"
Also confirmed to return in The Flash Season 9 are Arrowverse's very own The Flash alumnus Sendhil Ramamurthy as Dr. Ramsey Rosso/ Bloodwork, Supergirl alumna Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/ Dreamer, and Batwoman actress Javicia Leslie as Red Death.
The Flash Season 9 is set a week after Barry Allen defeated Reverse Flash which gave him the opportunity to reconnect with Iris but a new threat arises as a powerful group of Rogues arrives to cut their time together and spread fear throughout Central City. For his final run, Barry Allen would do everything to save the world one last time.
The Flash Season 9 makes its way on screen on February 8, 2023 at 8 PM EST on The CW. Streaming of the premiere episode becomes available the next day on The CW website and app.
