One of the last standing Arrowverse series is almost at the end of the line as The Flash concludes on its ninth and final season. The CW just unveiled the trailer for it and it teases the only run of Barry Allen left for the show, and this time, the Scarlet Speedster will save the world once more.
The final season of The Flash, one of the last of the Arrowverse shows, is almost in sight which means the finish line is, too, and to tease the finale of the series, the trailer for The Flash Season 9 has been released by The CW, as shared by Entertainment Weekly, preparing everyone for Barry Allen's last run.
Grant Gustin will be reprising his role as Barry Allen one last time in The Flash Season 9 and the trailer starts with Joe West telling Barry how he had been through so much in nine years and that he is proud of what the Scarlet Speedster has done.
Barry says it is not yet over because he still needs help to save the world, as he tries to do the impossible, and this time, it will be their last.
The official synopsis of The Flash Season 9 reveals that it will start a week after they battled Reverse Flash, and they will be facing the Rogues go into Central City bringing a new threat so the team would have to convene once more to save the world, even if it would be the last time.
Returning in the final season are Andy Mientus as Hartley Rathaway/ Pied Piper, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, Kayla Compton as Allegra Garcia, Brandon McKnight as Chester P. Runk, Jon Cor as Mark Blaine, and coming in will be Owen Mercer/ Captain Boomerang.
With 13 episodes, The Flash Season 9 will run one last time on The CW on February 8, 2023.
