The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: Wyatt Russell on US Agent's MCU Future

There is little doubt that John Walker is not the most popular character in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier but he did get an interesting story arc as he went from being the new Captain America to US Agent. So is it possible that we'll be seeing more of Walker in the future? Wyatt Russell has just spoken about the possibility of returning in another MCU project.

In the final episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Walker reappeared to help Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in the fight against the Flag-Smashers. He would later get a new suit from Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who asked him to be US Agent for a change.

It's an interesting change for Walker and now that he has a connection to the Contessa, fans are wondering if both characters will return in a new MCU film or show. Russell is aware of the fan curiosity but he told Vanity Fair he's not sure if Walker will show up again anytime soon.

"Marvel operates in a really cool way where they don't make decisions before they see what works. I'm not a part of any of this decision making, obviously," Russell said.

For now, it's uncertain what Marvel Studios has planned for Walker and the Contessa. However, we're expecting to see more of them again soon.

It has already been confirmed Captain America 4 is currently in development and that Anthony Mackie is expected to return as Sam Wilson. Is it possible that the new movie will feature Russell's US Agent and Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Contessa? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
