Chris Evans Not Returning in Anthony Mackie's Captain America 4

There is little doubt that people are currently psyched up for Captain America 4, which was confirmed right after the premiere of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6. So is there any chance that Chris Evans will show up in support of Anthony Mackie? It looks like Steve Rogers will not be back in the fourth Captain America film.

It was previously reported that Captain America 4 is currently in development with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman. Although it has not yet been confirmed, Mackie is already expected to reprise his role as Sam Wilson aka Captain America.

But who else will be joining Mackie in Captain America 4? Fans have been hoping that this could be the Marvel Cinematic Universe project that Evans is set to return in in the future. After all, it would make sense for Steve to show up and help Sam out.

We'd love to see Sam reunited with Steve soon. On the other hand, The Hollywood Reporter also confirmed that Captain America 4 is not the project that Evans will be working on.

It's disappointing to know this but we're still hoping that Sam gets some help from a good friend. There's a possibility that Captain America 4 will bring back Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes.

Sam finally became Captain America in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6 where he put on a new wingsuit and proved why he deserves the title. Although fans were hoping that we'd see more of the new Cap in the show's second season, it looks like we'll actually get to see him in a full movie.
