Who Are Cid's Voice Actors?
The series' main character, Cid Kagenou, is voiced by Seiichirou Yamashita in the Japanese dub. Yamashita has had many roles in previous anime, with Kakeru Naruse from Orange being amongst the most prominent.
Meanwhile, Adam Gibbs has taken over the role of Cid in The Eminence in Shadow's English dub. One of his most impressive past roles is Hyakkimaru from Dororo.
Who Are the Shadow Seven's Voice Actors?
Early in the isekai anime, Cid recruits an elf named Alpha and tells her an outrageous story that, unbeknownst to him, turns out to be partly true.
To fight the threat that Cid refuses to perceive, Alpha gathers a group of girls who come to be known as Shadow Seven. Here are their voice actors in the Japanese dub:
- Asami Seto (also Nobara from Jujutsu Kaisen) as Alpha
- Inori Minase (Rem from Re:Zero) as Beta
- Mimori Suzuko (Himawari Futurani from Yuru Yuri) as Gamma
- Ai Fairouz (Power from Chainsaw Man) as Delta
- Kanemoto Hisako (Ami from Sailor Moon Eternal) as Epsilon
- Ayaka Asai (Kei Nagai from Ajin) as Zeta
- Reina Kondou (also Nikaidou from Dorohedoro) as Eta
On the other hand, here are their English dub counterparts:
- Christina Kelly as Alpha (also the voice of Michiko Tendo in Chainsaw Man)
- Annie Wild as Beta (also the voice of Ichika from Ya Boy Kongming!)
- Elissa Cuellar as Gamma (also the voice of Zelda from Princess Principal)
- Raven Troup as Delta (also the voice of Lin from Vermeil in Gold)

- Rina Hidaka (also Misuzu from Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) as Claire. Her English counterpart is Luci Christian (also the voice of Satsuki Shinohara from Classroom of the Elite).
Who Are the New Voice Actors in The Eminence in Shadow Season 2?
Mary, a legendary vampire hunter, is one of the most important new members of The Eminence in Shadow's cast.
In Japanese, she's voiced by Ai Kakuma (also Eris from Mushoku Tensei). Her English-speaking counterpart, Katelyn Barr, also voiced Ria from Farming Life in Another World.
The Vampire Queen Elisabeth's Japanese voice actor is Saori Hayami, who voices Yor in Spy x Family. In English, Elisabeth is voiced by Brianna Roberts (also Miranjo from Ranking of Kings).
Crimson is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata from Gintama).
Other newly confirmed cast members include Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch from Code Geass) as John Smith and Daisuke Namikawa (Shouta from Kimi ni Todoke) as Gettan.
Yumike is portrayed by Shizuka Itou (Minako Aino from Sailor Moon) while Chafurin (Gregory from Gregory Horror Show) plays Garter Kikuchi.
