Early on, reported leaks suggested that the new season of the isekai anime could come out as soon as Fall 2023.

What Studio Is Producing The Eminence in Shadow Season 2?

The first season of The Eminence in Shadow was produced by studio Nexus, which will also animate Season 2.

Nexus is a relatively new studio that has previously been home to Chivalry of a Failed Knight and Darwin's Game.

Interestingly, The Eminence in Shadow is the studio's first major hit. After this major success, however, we expect more to come!

Season 2 is directed by Kazuya Nakanishi, who worked on the key animation of Samurai Champloo and the Monogatari series.

Katou Kanichi, who also worked on Black Clover's script, is in charge of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2's script.

As mentioned above, the main cast for the English dub will come back to reprise their roles in Season 2.
