Siesta and Kimizuka confront SPES to retrieve Alicia, and find several of the villains they fought against before. It appears that the whole idea behind SPES is that otherwordly seeds wanted to infiltrate the world due to the natural wish to have offspring. In a better world, this would have been an interesting New Weird aesthetic with Lovecraftian undertones, but, well, it is what it is, so the duo soon goes on to meet Hel.
Hel initially lies, saying that Alicia is a human SPES experimented upon, who developed dissociative personality disorder and created Hel due to her trauma. Siesta sees through the lie and understands that Hel is more than that; the reason why she so fervently supported SPES was as old as storytelling; she wanted to be loved.
As Siesta and Hel mean to conclude their fight once and for all, a terrifying monster appears (whatever) and Siesta dies unceremoniously. Hel, who lost too much blood, moves on to just... take Siesta's heart out of her chest and implant it in her own.
So, does this confirm my suspicions that Hel is Natsunagi? I'm 99% sure it does. Of course, Hel doesn't seem to be changing immediately, but could Siesta's heart completely alter her personality? Or was this Siesta's plan all along for some reason? Stay tuned to find out.
