As the show’s premiere inches closer, The Dangers in My Heart announced two new VAs who will join the cast for Season 2. These two VAs are well-known actresses with roles in popular shows like the Monogatari series and Demon Slayer.
The second season’s new cast members were revealed via the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. There, illustrations of the new characters that the two VAs will voice were also shared.
Two New VAs Join The Dangers in My Heart Season 2’s Voice Cast
For this new season, The Dangers in My Heart is bringing back the main cast from Season 1.
The cast includes VAs such as Shun Horie (Kazuya in Rent-A-Girlfriend), Hina Yomiya (Shinju in My Dress-Up Darling), Ayaka Asai (Alice in Undead Girl Murder Farce), and Megumi Han (Kana in Oshi no Ko).
The first of the two new VAs who will join the cast is Yuka Iguchi as Kanna Ando, a cheerful new character who wears a black mask and has a twin-tail hairstyle.
Iguchi is a popular VA who has played roles such as Myne in Ascendance of a Bookworm, Musume in Goblin Slayer, and Tsukihi Araragi in the Monogatari series.
Also part of the cast is Reina Ueda, who will play Yurine Hanzawa, a friend of Kanna. Unlike Kanna, Yurine has a more aloof personality.
Ueda is another well-known VA who became popular after playing Akane Shinjo in SSSS.Gridman.
Her other major roles include Kanao in Demon Slayer, Lemon in Mashle: Magic and Muscles, and Miyo Saimori in My Happy Marriage.

The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 Premieres in January 2024
The Dangers in My Heart’s first season aired during the stacked Spring 2023 season. It may have been overshadowed in discussions by the likes of Oshi no Ko, but the series has become a huge success.
In fact, the series became the highest-earning anime in its programming block thanks to advanced sales from several distributors outside of Japan.
Thanks to its success, the anime was quickly renewed for another season. Fans won’t have to wait long as this new season will be part of the Winter 24 lineup.
The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 will premiere in January 2024 on the same NUMAnimation programming block in Japan.
Meanwhile, the show’s next season is expected to be available on HIDIVE in the US and other select regions.
