Kana Arima Is the Perfect Idol Candidate for B-Komachi
Kana Arima embodies what it means to be a star in the entertainment industry.
She is an all-in-one artist who can deliver what is required of her, be it acting, modeling, or even performing on stage.
This could explain why, despite her young age, her career and popularity skyrocketed.
Many entertainment agencies wanted her, and she became a household name in the industry for a long time.
However, Kana's unpleasant and condescending attitude toward the people she worked with became her downfall.
Her celebrity status got to her head, and she was no longer humble about her acting roles.
The wheel of fate turned against Kana, and she became a "has-been" child actress.
Gone are the days when she was at the top and the producers loved and valued her services.
Despite everything, Kana remains strong and optimistic that the tables will be turned again.

Does Kana Become an Idol?
Yes, Kana becomes an idol in Oshi no Ko! She signed under Strawberry Productions and joined Ruby and Mem-Cho in the up-and-coming idol group, B-Komachi.
Kana even became the lead idol of B-Komachi, a position previously held by Ai Hoshino when she was alive.
She was initially hesitant, but after hearing Ruby and Mem-Cho's off-key voices, she forced herself to do it.
In addition to acting, Kana has a flair for singing, despite her lack of confidence in her voice.
This is because Kana's singing career did not take off, and none of her producers profited from her CDs.
Kana used to release a number of original and cover songs when she was younger, one of which was a theme song for a children's show.
She was quite embarrassed about it, but Ruby and Mem-Cho heard her voice in her other songs and thought she had to be the lead idol.
After Kana agreed to become the lead idol, B-Komachi started their intense training and made themselves known in Japan.
They started collaborating with popular YouTubers, TikTokers, and so on.
B-Komachi even landed a spot on a large-scale idol festival, where they got the opportunity to show the world what they had to offer.

Will Kana Ever Quit as an Idol?
As of writing, Kana is still working as an idol alongside Ruby and Mem-Cho in B-Komachi.
Unfortunately, Kana is not happy with how things are going with her career since she loves acting the most.
Kana's life revolves around acting, and she longs for the days when she can channel a character in front of the camera.
She also misses her theater days, particularly when she shone brightest thanks to Akane Kurokawa and Aqua Hoshino, who both set the stage for her.
Unfortunately, as B-Komachi's popularity grew, Ruby was the only one who received attention.
Despite Kana being the lead idol, Ruby is more popular than her owing to her cunning techniques.
This is not to imply Kana is jealous of Ruby; it's just that she was expected to be the girl who would carry B-Komachi's name to fame.
And because Ruby was getting all the attention, Kana hid behind the shadows.
She tries really hard to convince herself that this is what she wants in life, but she isn’t happy at all.
Kana thinks of quitting, but she has to think of Mem-Cho’s career as well. If she quits now, she will be under fire from their fans.
After all, Kana’s idol life has always been difficult. Not only did she lose Aqua to Akane, but she also found herself in the middle of a scandal with a married director.
Kana also became the reason Aqua had to reveal Ai Hoshino’s secret to the world.
In light of this, we believe that Kana Arima will quit her idol life sometime soon.
Perhaps to make amends for her scandal or to start over and pursue her acting career before it's too late.
