It may have taken some time, but finally, HIDIVE announced The Dangers in My Heart anime’s English dub release date along with its main cast.
Details about the English dub’s cast and release were shared on the official HIDIVE website and Twitter account. There, a series of tweets put the spotlight on the show’s main cast.
While it took longer than some fans would've liked, they will at least be able to watch the English dub version before the anime’s second season starts its broadcast.
The Dangers in My Heart English Dub Cast Announced
The Spring 23 anime season was big as it featured many hit shows like Oshi no Ko and Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc.
It may not have had as much hype as the aforementioned shows initially, but The Dangers in My Heart quickly became one of the prominent romance anime of the season, enough that it was quickly renewed for a second season.
For those who have yet to watch it, HIDIVE is adding a new reason to see all 12 episodes of Season 1 with the upcoming release of the English dub.
The main English dub cast of the anime includes:
- Katelyn Barr (Nikki Hanada in Dr. Stone) as Anna Yamada
- Clint Bickham (Kenma Kozume in Haikyuu!!) as Kyotaro Ichikawa
- Emi Lo (Myna Yatomika in 86) as Moeko Sekine
- Scott Gibbs (Hayato Hayama in OreGairu) as Shou Adachi
- Natalie Rial (Midari Ikishima in Kakegurui) as Honoka Hara
- Genevieve Simmons (Ryu Lion in DanMachi) as Kana Ichikawa
- Kara Greenberg (Sanae Furukawa in Clannad) as Chihiro Kobayashi
- Olivia Swasey (Alexia Midgar in The Eminence in Shadow) as Serina Yoshida
- Ben McLaughlin (Fuku-san in Shenmue the Animation) as Haruya Nanjo
- Courtland Johnson (Somei Saito in Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma) as Chikara Ota

English Dub Release Date for The Dangers in My Heart Revealed
The show may have flown under the radar during its beginning, but it soon became a big hit.
In fact, it was revealed that the show has the highest global sales ever among anime in TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation programming block.
Interest in the show will likely pick up once again as The Dangers in My Heart anime’s English dub will premiere on HIDIVE on August 26 at 11:00 AM ET / 8:00 AM PT.
Meanwhile, the show’s second season will premiere in January 2024, though there’s no specific release date for it yet.
