The Conners Season 4 Episode 6 titled Young Love, Old Love, and Take This Job and Shove It will see Darlene (Sara Gilbert) stressing about Mark’s (Ames McNamara) difficulty making friends at his new school.
Elsewhere, Mark turns to Ben (Jay R. Ferguson) for personal advice.
And Becky will thrive in college, but she will also start thinking about her future.

What Happened In The Conners Season 4 Episode 5?
In this week’s episode, Becky and Emilio reunited with each other. And it didn’t take long before Emilio told Becky that he had a steady girlfriend.
Becky told Emilio that she had decided to stay sober for an entire year before getting into a relationship. This means that she doesn’t take her fling with Mikey very seriously.

However, it seems that Emilio’s relationship will still affect Becky’s sobriety one way or another. After all, it’s still a major change from the set-up that she used to have with Emilio.
During an interview with TV Line, The Conners Season 4 executive producer Dave Caplan said that Emilio’s return would make Becky think about her future a little differently.
And as the synopsis for The Conners Season 4 Episode 6 revealed, Becky, will start thinking about her future in next week’s episode.
When asked what’s in store for Mikey and Becky, Caplan said fans need to wait and see. After all, Becky’s main focus is still her sobriety.

Becky’s Sobriety Will Take Center Stage In The Conners Season 4
Speaking of Becky’s sobriety, it’s possible that she could go into relapse because of Emilio’s return. But fans sure hope that this won’t happen. After all, Becky has been through enough. And she just relapsed at the start of The Conners Season 4.
Caplan also said that Becky’s recovery would be at the core of the character’s storyline in The Conners Season 4.
“Becky feels like she has her whole life ahead of her again, and she's excited. Her horizon is bigger now, and she's got an opportunity to do a lot of things, and she's going to try to figure out which direction to go in. We're going to see her trying to find new coping skills for life. Initially, she tries some that maybe aren't tenable in the long term, and they create complications," Caplan said.

Will Darlene Destroy Harris, Aldo’s Relationship?
Darlene doesn’t support her daughter Harris’ (Emma Kenney) relationship with Aldo (Tony Cavalero). After all, the latter is much older than Harris, and he also has two children.
Harris’ mom doesn’t think she’s suited to become a mom to two children considering that she’s also very young herself. But when Darlene told her daughter about her thoughts on the relationship, Harris refused to listen.
In fact, Harris upset her mom even more when she moved in with Aldo.
Even though we know for sure that Harris and Aldo’s relationship won’t last very long, it’s still worth seeing how the mother and daughter would navigate the situation.
Darlene is also dealing with her heartbreak after Ben dumped her. And the matriarch also has some unresolved issues with herself that she needs to address.
