The Book of Boba Fett: Temuera Morrison Confirms Return of Beloved Star Wars Director

Star Wars icon Temuera Morrison made his highly-anticipated return in The Mandalorian Season 2 and what was initially perceived to be a one-off appearance to please fans has spawned a full-time return for the beloved actor. Morrison just wrapped up filming his standalone series The Book of Boba Fett, reportedly serving as Season 2.5 of the hit Disney+ series starring Pedro Pascal and the loveable animatronic Grogu aka Baby Yoda.


We still know very little about the upcoming series but it's safe to assume that The Book of Boba Fett will finally bring some much-needed clarity as to what happened to the bounty hunter following his fatal fall in the Sarlacc pit and what he's been up to all those years leading up to his The Mandalorian appearance. Speaking of, Temuera is dropping some juicy details about the series, and apparently, it has enlisted a fan-favorite director.

Speaking with Rotten Tomatoes, the Aquaman star revealed that acclaimed filmmaker Robert Rodriguez who also serves as executive producer on The Book of Boba Fett has helmed multiple episodes for the series. "They brought Robert back in to direct a few more," he said. Not only that, but Morrison himself also revealed that he directed a few episodes. The other directors in question have yet to be announced.

It's no secret that the Star Wars franchise is experience yet another resurgence and we all have The Mandalorian to thank for it. Finally, Disney has seemingly cracked the code on how to handle the franchise properly but honestly, all credit goes to the creative minds of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni who are making sure that Star Wars is in good hands.

The Book of Boba Fett is slated for release this Winter.
