The Bad Batch Fans Blame Saw Gerrera For Season 2 Finale's Shocking Conclusion

There is little doubt that The Bad Batch Season 2 concluded on an emotional note and fans are understandably frustrated about a major character's shocking death. So it's no surprise that people are looking for someone to blame now that Clone Force 99 lost an important member. That said, everyone is blaming Saw Gerrera for messing things up in the series.

In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 15, Tech continued to look for more information about the Advanced Science Division but is unable to find anything about Crosshair's location or intel about Doctor Royce Hemlock. Luckily, Echo's contact informs them that Hemlock is attending an Imperial summit on Moff Tarkin's compound in Eriadu. The team decides to infiltrate the compound to plant a homing beacon on Hemlock's ship and track him to his base.

Although Clone Force 99 manages to get to Eriadu without a hitch and Omega efficiently sticks a homing beacon on Hemlock's ship, they notice that something is off as several sensors are offline and Hunter discovers an explosive device. That's when they encounter Saw Gerrera and his men who have been disguised as Stormtroopers.

As turns out, Saw intends to blow up the compound and take out several high-ranking Imperial officers in one go. Hunter implores him to stand down so they can track Hemlock and rescue the captive clones but Saw refuses, igniting the explosives as he and his men escape. Unfortunately, this left Clone Force 99 stranded in a rail car until Tech is forced to sacrifice himself so they can get away as well.

Needless to say, Saw Gerrera's actions led to Tech's death, Cid's betrayal, Omega's capture, and a broken Clone Force 99. So it's no surprise that fans are blaming him for everything going wrong in the Bad Batch Season 2 finale.

At this point, we're hoping things will work out for Clone Force 99 and that hopefully, Saw Gerrera will not return to f*ck things up in Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3.
