It's the last Bad Batch Wednesday of the year and as expected, the animated series delivered a truly jaw-dropping two-episode finale. In The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 15, Clone Force 99 finally found a way to save Crosshair but the mission proved to be the deadliest one for the team so far.
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 15, Tech continued to look for more information about the Advanced Science Division but is unable to find anything about Crosshair's location or intel about Doctor Royce Hemlock. Luckily, Echo's contact informs them that Hemlock is attending an Imperial summit on Moff Tarkin's compound in Eriadu. The team decides to infiltrate the compound to plant a homing beacon on Hemlock's ship and track him to his base.
Although Clone Force 99 manages to get to Eriadu without a hitch and Omega efficiently sticks a homing beacon on Hemlock's ship, they notice that something is off as several sensors are offline and Hunter discovers an explosive device. That's when they encounter Saw Gerrera and his men who have been disguised as Stormtroopers.
Saw intends to blow up the compound and get rid of multiple high-ranking Imperial officers. However, Hunter implores him to abort the plan so they can tail Hemlock and save the clones he had captured. Unfortunately, they are all discovered and chaos ensues. Saw escapes and blows up the compound but the officers lock themselves in a safe room.
Clone Force 99 struggles to escape, climbing onto a rail car to get back to their ship. However, the episode concludes with the rail car being stopped as the Stormtroopers draw in on them.
The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 15 proved that Clone Force 99 is ready to save Crosshair and the other clones despite the risks involved. Unfortunately, their luck ran out this time and they could all end up being captured by Hemlock.
