Demon Slayer Season 2: Kimetsu No Yaiba finally makes its way into the Entertainment District Arc and after the re-run of the events of the Mugen Train arc, the first episode of the second half of the series lays down its groundwork and a new Hashira to team up comes with Tengen Uzui fully entering the scene and easily stealing the hearts of many.

A special one-hour premiere was a treat to many fans and viewers as the Entertainment District arc of Demon Slayer 2: Kimetsu No Yaiba prepares Tanjiro and the rest of the characters while they are making their way into the Entertainment District. A full introduction of who Tengen Uzui is as shown in the said episode and the latter half of the episode laid down the groundwork for what’s next for Tanjiro.

Tanjiro went to the Butterfly Mansion in hopes of recruiting some of the women there in a dangerous new mission he is about to face. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke went to train for months after the deadly fight in Mugen Train and they are about to face a new mission when they encountered Tengen just before the episode ends.

There, Tengen was seen kidnapping young girls from the Butterfly Mansion and it has not been explained why he was taking them but only said that he needs them whatever their strength and status might be. Tengen later agreed to have Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke with him for the mission. As their team-up is about to happen, it is possible to see more of the Hashira in the succeeding episodes.
