Tammy Slaton has seemingly realized that her behavior in the past weeks was not contributing to her weight loss journey. The 1000-Lb Sisters star is currently in a rehab facility to get help, a report says.
1000-Lb Sisters Tammy Slaton Checks Herself Into A Facility To Get Help
An unnamed source close to Tammy Slaton spoke with The Sun and gave some updates about the reality star. According to the insider, the TLC star is currently in a rehab facility and getting help.
"This summer she was a bit reckless. There were times when I said, 'You have a TV show about your weight. Why are you eating this?'" the unnamed source told the outlet. "I was very blunt with her."

Tammy reportedly admitted herself into the facility before the holidays. This time, the 1000-Lb Sisters seems determined to achieve her health goal because she is doing it for herself and not for the show.
"She is doing it on her own. The show is not paying for it, she's paying for it," the source added. "She's doing it on her own and she's choosing to be close to eight hours away from her family."
The reality star is reportedly planning to remain in the facility until summer.
"I know that she wants to be out this summer. She has a goal for herself. Because again, she's paying for this. She has a goal for herself to get out this summer," the tipster added.

Tammy Slaton Got Fans Worried Over Her Health In Previous Of 1000-Lb Sisters Episode
In the previous episodes of Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton's reality show on TLC, the former partied with her friends. She binged on pizza, drank alcohol and even vaped while on oxygen. Many were alarmed at the sight of Tammy living such an unhealthy life when she had to lose weight to qualify for bariatric surgery.
Several were disappointed while others felt that she probably already embraced her fate. Tammy and Amy were both struggling with their weight. They were told to lose weight or they would not live longer. Amy is making positive progress, but her older sister has backpedaled.
In the said episode, Amy said she wasn't happy with what Tammy was doing with her life. However, she didn't want to confront her because she knew it would end up in a "bad argument."

"It's Tammy choice to make good choices, not mine," Amy said.
When the two sisters sat down with the producers, Tammy asked why she did all those unhealthy stuff. She explained that she was "trying to do self-love."
Amy quipped and calmly told her that there are other outlets to explore for that. However, Tammy seemed unhappy with her suggestion but still asked her younger sister what else she could do. Tammy sensed that they would end up arguing and opted to not push her idea, saying, "I don't know."
"You do it your way, I'll do it mine," Tammy added.
When Amy tried to tell Tammy again to avoid alcohol because it could lead to more health problems like kidney failure, the latter cut her off saying, "I don't need lecture."
