With the film’s US release just a few weeks away, Crunchyroll officially announced the full English dub cast for Suzume, Makoto Shinkai’s long-awaited next film.

For the English dub, Crunchyroll revealed that the main star, Suzume Iwato, is voiced by Nichole Sakura, an actress who has appeared in various popular TV shows such as Superstore and Shameless.

Joining her are other popular dub voice actors who may be familiar to anime fans in the US.

Over the past couple of years, anime movies have become more common in the US, which is great news for fans. After all, anime films barely got big cinema screenings back in the day.

With more and more anime movies being shown in US cinemas, many films have now gotten English dub releases.

Though of course, there are still usual screenings of the Japanese language version with English subs.

For those interested in seeing Suzume with its English dub, here is the complete voice cast:

Suzume Anime Movie US Release Date

In Japan, Suzume was released back in November 2022, and it soon dominated the country’s box office.

As of this article’s writing, Suzume is the 10th highest-grossing movie in Japan of all time.

Following its Japanese release, Suzume was chosen as part of the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival in February.

Soon after, it was released in other cinemas across the world.

Fans in the US will be able to watch Suzume in cinemas beginning on April 14, 2023.

The film will also be released in other countries such as the UK, Canada, Ireland, and more on the same day.

More info on which cinemas it will be released in will be announced closer to the release date.
