Superman & Lois Episode 6 Release Date and Time has a story to tell on its own aside from the story of Superman and Lois being working parents; the series will be delayed and will be having an almost two-month break which means that the episode will not be arriving until May.
Superman & Lois follows the new life of Superman as he shows his more relatable and more human side as a father who struggles juggling his priorities between saving the world and being a parent to his children making sure that he gets to see them grow up and not leave the burden of all of it to his wife, Lois.
With the grim reality of being parents, more so working parents, Superman/ Clark Kent and Lois Lane face the challenge of being parents to twins who are now on their adolescent phase as they return to where it all began, in the hometown of Clark, in Smallville, where they would be starting again in life after the death of the mother of Clark.
Now in a start over with their new quiet and idyllic life in Smallville, Superman/ Clark Kent and Lois Lane face a series of adversities where there are difficulties to adjusting to a new environment, a villain arrives trying to prove the world no longer needs Superman, Lois trying to reveal dark secrets of a powerful corporation, among many others.
Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin as Superman/ Clark Kent, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Jordan Elsas as Jonathan Kent, and Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, and Wolé Parks as the villain.
After this season, there is more to Superman & Lois as the series already has confirmed to have secured a second season.
Superman & Lois To Be On Hiatus: Reason For Delay
With the ongoing pandemic and the rise of the new variants of the coronavirus, the challenge of producing a series is really hard especially when apart from the production, there are health concerns that are surrounding the show.
After the upcoming fifth episode, Superman & Loiswill be having a hiatus after the production team received a positive COVID test leading to the temporary shutdown of the project causing the series to be put on hold. The next episode would be not until May 18, giving them the time to recover and produce the succeeding episodes until Episode 13.

Superman & Lois Episode 5 Preview & Recap
Episode 5 is titled "The Best of Smallville" where the episode just dropped a major Captain Luthor backstory. The trouble in Smallville arises as Sharon Powell's son, Derek, returns home mysteriously and he is completely unaware that he sent a voicemail to his mother. This seems suspicious to both Lois and Chrissy as something seems really odd that Derek returned and Sharon doesn't want to investigate anymore which made them think that something doesn't really add up and make sense.
A fire broke out at the community center where it was found that it was Derek's doing: with his newly gained laser vision. Lois investigates the scene as a journalist herself and while she is busy following the trail of the new X-Kryptonite Soldier of Morgan Edge, Lois is into something that spells trouble: Captain Luthor.
Luthor poses as a LutherCorp employee who became a Reuters tech reported and he approached Lois for some journalistic beat on the case of Morgan Edge. This raises Lois' suspicion over the new guy and she is really intrigued.
Chrissy caught Derek with Leslie Larr on the outskirts of the facility of Edge (which is really shady, by the way) and Chrissy follows her own mantra of "What Would Lois Do?" Chrissy followed the two and she is in for a shock: Leslie puts Derek into a mysterious machine.
Superman arrives and he chased Derek who seemed to have been charged by the machine or whatever that machine does. Luthor joins the party as he shots them both from the skies. Derek tells Superman that he was resurrected, even calling him Kal-El, and that Superman is not alone anymore. Confused, Superman was about to ask what he meant when Derek said he is already dead and an explosion happens, Derek exploded.
Luthor has a twisted reveal of the truth as his computer reminds him that the Lois in this world is nothing like the Lois that he has, the Lois of his own (Another Lois and she's Luthor's? Wait, what?) Luthor replies to his computer that everything about Lois is the same except that in this world, she has a different husband. (Dropped bomb, everyone, Lois of the other world and Luthor are married!)
Where to Watch Superman & Lois Episode 6?
The CW holds the exclusive home for the Arrowverse and since Superman & Lois is part of that, it will be on The CW. The CW airs Superman & Lois on their cable channel and its online platforms such as The CW App and CW.com where they release of the episodes the morning after will be available online the following day from the release on the television cable channel of The CW.
There would also be a livestream of Superman & Lois for those with an active subscription on Hulu+ Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV Now where all these platforms have the shows of The CW in their TV channel bundles.
As for The CW shows turning up in Netflix and HBO Max, likely, Superman & Lois will also be there although there is no concrete announcement or confirmation yet from any of the parties involved. If so, it would likely be on either streaming giant one week and a day after the season finale aired on the channel network.
When is the Release Date and Release Time Superman & Lois Episode 6?
Superman & Lois airs every Tuesday on The CW at 9 PM ET/8 PM CT on the cable channel of The CW. The episodes will be online for streaming the morning after it has been released on TV at CW.com and The CW App.
However, for this coming Tuesday, there would be no Superman & Lois as the timeslot of the series will be taken over by Supergirl since Superman & Lois will be on a hiatus as mentioned above.
Therefore, Superman & Lois will be returning on the screens on May 18, 2021, at 9 PM ET/8 PM CT on The CW's Cable Channel, where at the same time, the livestream will also resume for those with an active subscription on Hulu+ Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV Now. The episode will be uploaded online the day after, May 19, 2021, at CW.com and The CW App.
Superman & Lois Episode 6 Countdown
Because of the hiatus, there are more or less two months before we get to see the next episode of Superman & Lois. It is expected to pick up where it left… where Luthor reveals his wife is Lois from a different world. If that didn't surprise you, I don't know what will anymore. That was just so jaw-dropping. Could this mean that Luthor, Lois, and Superman will be on a love-triangle?
Considering that Superman is quite failing to be the husband that he is in the past episodes and that Lois requires some loving, could Luthor use this advantage to win Lois in this world? That would bleed so much more if Superman finds out that Luthor married Lois in another world.
We'll find out in May.
