Superman & Lois highlights a more relatable Superman: a father who struggles juggling his priorities between saving the world and being a parent to his children making sure that he gets to see them grow up and not leave the burden of all of it to his wife, Lois. The series shows a more human side to Superman as he and his wife face the grim reality of being parents.
Now with twins in their adolescent phase, Superman/ Clack Kent and Lois Lane return to where it all began, in the hometown of Clark, in Smallville, where they would be starting again in life after the death of the mother of Clark.
Their new quiet and idyllic life in Smallville, however, does not come without any adversities: a villain arrives trying to prove the world no longer needs Superman, the boys facing problems in their new school, the difficulties of adjusting to a new life, Lois trying to reveal dark secrets of a powerful corporation, among many others.
After the upcoming fifth episode, the series will be having a hiatus after the production team received a positive COVID test leading to the temporary shutdown of the project causing the series to be put on hold. The next episode would be not until May 18, giving them the time to recover and produce the succeeding episodes until Episode 13.
The series stars Tyler Hoechlin as Superman/ Clark Kent, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Jordan Elsas as Jonathan Kent, and Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, and Wolé Parks as the villain.
No need to worry as there surely is more to the story as Superman & Lois has secured a second season early on.

Superman & Lois Episode 4 Preview & Recap
Superman & Lois Episode 4, Haywire, the father of Lois Lane, General Lane, requested Superman to accompany a violent and dangerous criminal to a different prison, one which he politely declined as he chooses to be with his sons as their new assistant coach in the Smallville High School football team – Clark chooses to be a father this time.
While Clark continues to try his best to be a family man, he fails, something Lois seems to understand marrying a superhero but still showing some jealousy feeling she is far from his priorities as he missed the townhall meeting where he was supposed to convince Smallville to vote against Morgan Edge taking over the mines in town.
The reason why he cannot come is that the prisoner turns out to be Thaddeus Killgrave, a psychopath who has radicalized his hate on Superman and escaped in transit leaving Superman no choice but to look for what is left of the wreck.
Clark tries to win his wife's feelings back as he prepares a candlelit dinner in their barn. On the other hand, Morgan Edge continues to push his plans to pursue Lana and Kyle for a dinner after learning that Lana works at the local bank.
The boys are also having difficulties on their own. One of their teammates in the football team seemed to have a super-human outburst from a metaphysical development that he encountered from an unknown material resulting in him being enrolled in a special school with kids having the same set of abilities.
Stressed in life, Lana and Lois decided to go for a night out where Lana revealed to Lois that she and Clark used to date in high school.
The episode ends with Leslie Larr lending a hand to Morgan Edge in the creation of a hole on the mine that holds enough X-Kryptonite to resurrect an army begging the question of the real interest of Morgan with Smallville on whether he would be creating Kryptonian soldiers or something like that.

Superman & Lois Episode 5 will be titled The Best of Smallville showing the various parts of the town where Clark and Lois seem to date, the struggles of Jordan and Jonathan, Lois meeting a new character who seems to be someone with powerful gadgets, and Superman saving the world.

Superman & Lois hails from the Arrowverse which is from The CW. The CW airs Superman & Lois on their cable channel and its online platforms such as The CW App and CW.com.
