Following The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's intense fourth episode, fans have developed a newfound disgust for John Walker aka the "new" Captain America after his horrific act during the episode's closing moments which sent shockwaves to the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom. In case you missed it, Walker has injected himself with the super-soldier serum and did the unthinkable, beating one of the Flag Smashers to a bloody pulp after his good friend and ally Lemar Hoskins was killed by Karli Morgenthau.
Sure, Walker got the best of him and out of grief was able to resort to murder but it's quite obvious that the serum is already taking an effect on him and as previously discussed by Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, and Helmut Zemo earlier in the episode, the serum can definitely corrupt its host.
Walker's heinous act sparked a movement within the fandom who are now demanding for Steve Rogers to return to the franchise. Up until now, Rogers' true status has yet to be addressed but it's safe to assume that if he was indeed still alive, he'd still be in the same condition as when we last saw him.
But what if Steve actually comes back in his previous super-soldier form to go toe-to-toe with the now menacing Captain America? Digital artist @artoftimemarvel unveiled an awesome artwork inspired by Captain America: Civil War's poster depicting a showdown between the two. Don't act like you don't want to see it go down because you do. Check it out here:
Despite the fact that both men are now technically equally matched, in my opinion, it will always go down as to which character has the bigger heart, and obviously, Rogers has the edge. But don't count out Walker just yet because we've seen him tease his mean streak in previous episodes and him killing a Flag-Smasher in Episode 4 is probably just the tip of the iceberg.
