Star Wars Toy Leak Possibly Reveals Bo-Katan's The Bad Batch Involvement

Just when you thought the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will mark the end of the saga's animated universe, Lucasfilm pulled a stunning surprise during the finale episode and confirmed that a new show title The Bad Batch is coming. The upcoming animated series will revolve around the "Bad Batch", a squad composed of defectively born clones who had special "desirable" mutation.

During Disney's 2020 Investor Day, it was teased that Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand could appear on the show. The actress would later confirm that Shand will indeed be part of the new animated project and apparently, she's not the only badass female character who will make her way to the series. Bo-Katan Kryze could also potentially become part of The Bad Batch and that is according to the official description of her upcoming Black Series action figure based on Katee Sackhoff's The Mandalorian appearance.

User kuptrion posted the leak on Reddit and the description labeled Bo-Katan as part of The Bad Batch. Check it out here:

The description for Hasbro's Black Series Bo Katan attributes her to the Bad Batch, not TCW. Potential leak, or marketing blunder #371951? You decide!

Of course, it wouldn't be too farfetched to believe that Kryze will become part of the show as the character has always been a main fixture in the Star Wars animated universe. This begs the question: could other characters from The Mandalorian also show up in The Bad Batch? I'm guessing the potential will always be there but it's also worth noting that the show takes place around the time Emperor Palpatine executed Order 66. And both Bo-Katan and Fennec Shand encountered Din Djarin at around 9 ABY. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The Bad Batch is slated for release in Spring 2021.
